Genetic Testing

Professor Ros Eeles is a leading specialist in Oncogenetics, Prostate oncology and radiotherapy. Her work at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research is legendary. In the late Autumn 2017 at 90 Sloane Street we plan to start a whole genome screening project looking for 80 actionable genes. These are genes, which if you are aware of through this testing, can offer actions, which could massively improve your outlook. It is exciting to be involved in this ground-breaking work. We have appointed Dr Anne-Britt Jones oncogenetic specialist, for this project, together with a psychologist and a specialist Nurse.

At present, doing a whole screen for a room of 100 people is likely to find four people with genes which are actionable.
